M81 Woodland Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover

One of the most recognizable camouflage patterns in the entire world is the M81 Woodland camouflage pattern. This specific camouflage pattern was developed by the United States Armed Forces in 1981 and wasn’t replaced until the mid 2000’s. Although M81 Woodland discontinued its primary issue around 2005 it still remains an ever popular camouflage pattern amongst special operators in a few select departments of the United States Armed Forces and State Defense Forces.

The M81 Woodland camouflage pattern proved its usefulness when it first saw combat in 1983 during the invasion of Grenada all the way through to the invasion of Panama in 1989. It wasn’t until this time that the need for a ‘woodland’ style camouflage pattern sizzled down due to the need for a more desert and arid style camouflage pattern to properly address conflicts happening in the middle east. To this day the M81 Woodland camouflage pattern is replicated by a number of countries for their own use among armed forces and law enforcement personnel.

The Beez Combat Systems Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover is available in the popular M81 Woodland camouflage pattern. The Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover is easy to assemble, quick to deploy and can be stored in the smallest of spaces. The Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover offers the most advanced state of the art concealment technology for increased break up while in rough terrains. The Predator Ghillie™ dreads reduce the visual outlines of the helmet while maintaining versatility and reliability.

The M81 Woodland will always remain one of the most popular camouflage patterns throughout time. Known as one of the “old school” camouflage patterns it is this camouflage pattern that has made its mark and impression throughout armed forces personnel and conflict recognition throughout the globe.
