The unique feature of the ARES-H magazine pouch is that it can equip one 30 round magazine in a horizontal fashion. The ARES-H magazine pouch is an open top magazine pouch but does include a bungee retention and pull tab for additional magazine retention.
A strong 4″ woven double elastic band located around the body of the ARES-H magazine pouch also ensures enough magazine retention for a snug fit.
