A-TACS IX is a combination of the well known A-TACS FG and A-TACS AU camouflage patterns. Developed for transitional environments A-TACS IX consists of a hybrid mixture of intermediate greens along with desert tans. A-TACS IX offers advanced concealment in transitional areas between light and shadow offering improved depth and definition via enhanced edge detail. In short, A-TACS IX offers the wearer a “pattern within a pattern” and is suitable for fall or woodland type environments.
A-TACS IX is the first camouflage pattern in a new generation of concealment. A-TACS IX offers the wearer a central component for a multi-environmental concealment solution. Although A-TACS provides a variety of specific camouflage patterns, the A-TACS IX (iX) ‘Intermediate Extreme’ was developed recently in 2016.
